Get world-class prevention and HIV care through telehealth.

Safe, convenient access to PrEP, Hepatitis C treatment and more.

Connecting with your CARES 360 provider online is a great way to get the healthcare you need from the comfort and safety of your home. You’ll be working with the same local team you know and trust –  telehealth simply allows us to come to you and provide care more efficiently.

You may still need to see your provider in person at times, but when appropriate telehealth visits can save time and make your healthcare more flexible.

PrEP

Taken as directed, PrEP is up to 99% effective at preventing HIV infection from sex or injection-drug use. This can make sex safer and increase your peace of mind. Now our partner pharmacy can mail your medication straight to your home. Telehealth is available for established patients of Nashville CARES and the CARES 360 Community Clinic.

Hepatitis C

If you’ve been diagnosed with Hepatitis C, you’ll want to begin treatment as quickly as possible. Antiviral pills cure more than 95% of patients in just 8 to 12 weeks, with very few side effects. Take advantage of convenient home delivery.

HIV Care

We offer ongoing care for established HIV patients of our Memphis and Nashville cliinic.

For a new HIV diagnosis, you’ll need to schedule an in-person visit at one of our locations  before we’re able to move you into our telehealth program.

Who is eligible for telehealth?

CARES 360 provides telehealth services to insured adults living in Tennessee. State law does require you to be physically within the State of Tennessee to complete a telehealth appointment. Whether you’re covered by Medicare, Medicaid or a private insurer, we’re here for you. Any co-pays, co-insurance or deductibles will be exactly the same as you’d pay for an in-person visit.

No health insurance coverage? Don’t worry! You can still receive in-person care from CARES 360. We’re here to help.

Telehealth FAQ

Is a telehealth session less private than an in-person visit?

Any time you interact with a CARES 360 provider, you can rest assured your privacy is respected and protected. Every aspect of your telehealth experience offers full compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and standards.

How much does a telehealth session cost compared to an in-person visit?

The price for all telehealth services provided by CARES 360 is exactly the same as an equivalent in-person service. Many patients find that using telehealth actually saves them money on transportation, and the time savings can mean you don’t have to take off work, arrange for childcare, etc.

Can I begin HIV treatment using telehealth?

The initial HIV diagnosis must take place at an in-person provider visit. After that, most or all visits can be handled via telehealth. Please discuss if telehealth is appropriate for you with your healthcare provider.

Am I eligible for telehealth?

Fill out our TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENT REQUEST FORM  and our health navigator will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to determine if telehealth is right for you. Based on your eligibility, the health navigator will connect you to the right telehealth or in-person services.

I do not currently have insurance coverage. May I still use telehealth?

CARES 360 is only able to offer telehealth to patients who are covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. For those who do not have coverage, we’re always happy to provide in-person care at no cost at our clinic. We’re all about making world-class care accessible to anyone. Make your in-person appointment here.

How do I get my lab work done if I’m using telehealth?

CARES 360 partners with three different labs, which gives you many locations to choose from. Visit our lab locator page here
